Tatsoi

Tatsoi has a sweet and earthy/mustardy flavor and is closely related to bok choy. It is being called “the new spinach”. It’s delicious raw in salads, sauteed as a side or added into a pasta dish.

STORAGE TIPS: Wrap in a flour sack towel or paper towels and store in a breathable plastic bag in the crisper drawer of your fridge. Typically lasts 3-5 days.

BROWN BUTTER PASTA WITH TATSOI
Doesn’t get much easier than this! Brown some butter and toss with pasta, tatsoi, parmesan, thyme and lemon juice.

SPICY STIR-FRIED TATSOI
Not into heat? Skip the serrano pepper! Serve over steamed brown rice add chicken or tofu for an even heartier dish.

TATSOI SALAD WITH SESAME-GINGER DRESSING
Don’t worry if you don’t have any monkfruit sweetener on hand (because who does?) – you can use honey instead.
